When the Weather Is Fine (Korean: 날씨가 좋으면 찾아가겠어요; RR: Nalssiga Joeumyeon Chajagagesseoyo; lit. I’ll Go to You When the Weather Is Fine) is a 2020 South Korean television series starring Park Min-young and Seo Kang-joon. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Lee Do-woo, it premiered on JTBC on February 24, 2020.[1][2]
Synopsis
After a series of unfortunate events, Mok Hae-won (Park Min-young) quits her job in Seoul and goes back to Bookhyun Village, in Gangwon Province, where she briefly lived when she was in high school. There, she meets again her former classmate and neighbor, Im Eun-seob (Seo Kang-joon). He also came back to Bookhyun after leaving the village for a few years and now owns a bookstore.
Mok Hae Won is a warm-hearted cellist living in Seoul. After a number of emotionally bad experiences, she tires of hectic city life and returns to Bookhyun, the small rural village of her youth. There she meets Im Eun Sup, an old high school classmate, who now owns a small bookstore, writes a blog, and lives a simple life.
